Welcome to Okanagan Falls
With Okanagan Falls at its heart, vineyards stretch Northwards along the East Bench of Skaha Lake and across the water to Kaleden and then South over rolling hills above Vaseux Lake.
Over tens of thousands of years a series of glaciers, up to 3 kilometres thick, carved a great valley out the of mountains that we now call the Okanagan. In places it is deeper than the Grand Canyon. The retreating ice mass left behind long benches of fertile soil and a series of spectacular lakes. Our region of the South Okanagan is a unique climatic zone known as a semi-arid steppe, the final stage of a desert area that extends up from the United States. Along with that comes long warm days and cool nights that retain the acidity in the grapes and helps shape their distinctive character and flavours.

The Okanagan Falls Winery Association is a collection of 14 of British Columbia’s premier wineries. Each winery has its own unique approach to maximizing the incredible terroir of the region. The wines of the Association range from award winning bubbles to aromatic Rieslings and Gewürztraminers through to bold Syrahs and juicy Cabernet Sauvignons.

Winemaker Wednesday is held on the last Wednesday of each month from June-September. Join us from 2:00-4:00 for a hands-on informative experience. Themes include vertical tastings, barrel blending, “A taste of terroir” and Crush Time- Wine in the making!

This is a casual event where you can taste delicious premium quality wines paired with food fresh off the BBQ! This is a unique dining experience that will also include a walk in the vines with the Winemaker and a barrel tasting for those who are interested in learning about different barrels, aging and flavor profiles! Library and Reserve Wines paired with each course!
Meyer Family Vineyards
On September 3rd Meyer Family Vineyards partners with Joy Road Catering for an interactive evening of terroir focused food and wine accompanied by the sounds of local artists Tavis Weir Trio. This Pinot Noir focused dinner is a rare opportunity to taste our full portfolio of Pinot Noirs. Paired perfectly with Joy Road’s delectable cuisine, you will get the opportunity to taste our “Old Block” and “Micro Cuvée” Pinot Noirs in addition to our first ever Sparkling wine.

We are taking the art experience one step further by bringing internationally respected artists to Liquidity to speak about their art and what inspires them. Whether you are an artist yourself, or simply appreciate art, these lectures will be interesting and engaging.
Jeff Burgess is a practicing visual artist and illustrator with over 25 years experience. He has exhibited nationally and internationally and his artwork appears in many collections throughout Canada, the US, Europe and Asia. He also has work in the collections of Fairmont Hotels and Resorts, Microsoft, The Alberta Art Foundation and The Calgary Contemporary Arts Foundation. An honours graduate from the Alberta College of Art in Calgary, he has made Vancouver his home since 1984.
